2020-05-08 Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission Long Range Transportation Plan

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Springfield Area Transportation Study (SATS) has prepared the Draft 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for the Greater Springfield Metropolitan Area.   The LRTP presents strategies and projects to be undertaken over the next 25 years to create an effective, efficient, and interconnected multi-modal transportation system.  The 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan is available for review on the SATS Website, www.sscrpc.com.

Comments and questions may be submitted by completing the comment form on the website, by email at sscrpc@co.sangamon.il.us, or in writing by mailing comments to Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission 200 South 9th Street - Room 212 Springfield, IL 62701. In addition, a virtual Public Informational Meeting to accept questions and comments on the LRTP will be conducted as part of the SATS Technical Committee meeting on Thursday, June 4 at 8:30 AM. Information regarding meeting details will be available on the website no later than May 28, 2020. Comments on the LRTP will be accepted through June 8, 2020.
